In 1445, at a covetous English court, a precocious French girl is crowned the Queen of England only to find she has been given to a King “as mute as a crowned calf, early taught to weep.”   How will Margaret survive with these foreigners bent on stirring up scandal, attacking her homeland, and smearing her good name?   She’ll fight back, of course.  --A darkly funny and ultimately tragic re-imagining of the Wars of the Roses from “The Brutal Queen’s” point of view.
